To evaluate the activity of mTORC2 signaling in TFH and TH1 cells in the context of acute viral infection, we infected wild-type C57BL/6J mice with the Armstrong strain of LCMV and measured the level of AKT phosphorylation at Ser 473, which is an indicator of mTORC2 activity, between TFH and TH1 cells in the spleen on day 8 post-infection. Here, AKT1 is linked to viral infectious disease.
