AGT and hypertensive disorder: Considering the well-known efficacy of antioxidant therapies for improving of baroreflex sensitivity in ANG-II-dependent hypertension models (Botelho-Ono et al., 2011; Queiroz et al., 2012; Mendes-Junior et al., 2013; Alves et al., 2015), it is probable that the improvement of baroreflex sensitivity was a result of the antioxidant therapy promoted by the oral CM-G treatment.
