Using the Pearson correlation (r) coefficient, we found that RIPK2 activity correlated with primary tumor size stage (Slope 4.2, with a 95% CI of (2.6–5.8) and a p-value < 0.0001), the presence of distance metastasis (Slope 0.23, with a 95% CI of (0.06–0.39) and a p-value = 0.008) and cancer stage grouping (overall staging) (Slope 1.9, with a 95% CI of (1.06–2.7) and a p-value < 0.0001) (Figure 5a–c). This evidence concerns the gene RIPK2 and cancer.
