Activation of noncanonical pathway components such as NIK, RelB, or IKKα have been shown to support tumor progression in various cancers, such as multiple myeloma, DLBCL, glioblastoma, breast, prostate, ovarian, and colon cancers, and inhibitors of NIK or IKKα could have therapeutic benefit for patients with these tumors.
