It has been recently reported that TP53 down-regulates several genes of the FA pathway in many tissues and that loss of TP53 function leads to increased expression of FA genes in advanced human cancers, as suggested by the analysis of transcriptomic data in advanced TP53 mutated human neoplasms (i.e. ovarian adeno-carcinoma, liver and adeno-cortical tumors) [25]. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and neoplasm.
