MARCO and stroke disorder: Flow cytometry confirmed there was no increase in the percentage of RFP-expressing MOMA-1+ MMM (Figure 3B), MARCO+ MZM (Figure 3C), CD11b+ (monocyte-derived) RPM (Figure 3D) or F4/80+ (monocyte-derived and tissue-resident) RPM (Figure 3E) populations suggesting that the homeostatic rate of replacement of these cells from bone marrow-derived monocytes is not altered by experimental stroke.
