QKI and neoplasm: Interestingly, several other studies have indicated that QKI can also play tumour suppressive roles (Chen et al, 2012; Zong et al, 2014; Bandopadhayay et al, 2016), and in one case, QKI‐directed alternative splicing of NUMB has been shown to reduce growth of lung cancer cells in vivo (Zong et al, 2014).
