Downregulation of SNX1 promotes HGF-induced MET (product of oncogene c-met) endocytosis and leads to the phosphorylation of MET in human lung cancer cell line, and then activates RTK/RAS signaling pathway and leads to the activation of cell proliferation and inhibition of cell apoptosis, and increase cell malignancy (Nishimura et al., 2015; Peschard & Park, 2007; Stuart et al., 2000). Here, SNX1 is linked to lung cancer.
