Since organ-specific chemokine receptors other than CXCR3 have been reported (31–33), we also examined expression of other chemokine receptors including CCR4, CCR5, and CCR6 but detected no significant difference on protein levels in liver between the CD25−/− and CD25−/−CXCR3−/− mice (Figure S4 in Supplementary Material), suggesting that these receptors were not the major factors affecting the autoimmune diseases in this mouse model.
