Remarkably, after 221E-induced proliferation, NK cells maintained the same percentages of FcεRγneg cells present in resting NK cells (pre-culture) in both patients and HD+ (Figure 7C; Figure S7 in Supplementary Material), suggesting that both subsets (NKG2C+CD57+FcεRγ+ and NKG2C+CD57+FcεRγneg) could efficiently proliferate in response to stimuli acting on the NKG2C receptor.
