Among the 1615 differentially expressed genes, Na+/H+ exchanger regulatory factor 1 (NHERF1, also called ezrin-radixin-moesin-binding phosphoprotein 50/EBP50), were a novel gene which was downregulated and associated with cell proliferation and Wnt pathway in cervical cancer specimens. This evidence concerns the gene NHERF1 and cervical carcinoma.
