Consistently, light-contrast microscope images show reduced cell density upon KIAA0100 knock-down as compared to the controls under the microscope as shown in Figure 4C, indicating loss of KIAA0100 expression was able to reduce the cells’ ability in re-attaching themselves back to the surface, suggesting that KIAA0100 may play a role in regulating the transition of cancer cells from suspension to anchorage.
