We first investigated the indirect role of UBE2CP3 on EC proliferation, migration, and tube formation by constructing a co-culture system with HCC cells and ECs by using a Transwell chamber with a 0.4-μm pore size; in the co-culture system, HCC cells and ECs were separated, but cytokines and growth factors were still able to communicate with each other. The gene discussed is UBE2CP3; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
