PP2A promotes pancreatic cancer development by sustaining hyperactivity of multiple oncogenic signaling pathways, including AKT, ERK, and Wnt,33 and inhibition of PP2A repressed the invasive ability of pancreatic cancer cells.21 These studies also provide a basis for exploring PP2A as a diagnostic or therapeutic target in pancreatic cancer. Here, PTPA is linked to familial pancreatic carcinoma.
