It not only binds with Aβ-oligomers and fibrils in AD [9,34], but also binds readily with other amyloid proteins, such as α-synuclein (α-syn) in PD [35], huntingtin (HTT) in HD [36], phosphorylated tau (p-tau) in tauopathies and AD [37], as well as with prion proteins in prion diseases [38] (Table 2).
