The tumor size was not significantly different between the EGFR-positive (35.4 ± 24.7 mm3; range, 4.5–80.8 mm3) and the EGFR-negative (28.2 ± 22.3 mm3; range, 5.7–94.4 mm3) lymph node metastases (p = 0.28), and the signal ratio did not correlate with the lesion size in the EGFR-positive lesions (Fig 7, r = 0.36, p = 0.08). This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and neoplasm.
