Overexpression of miR-142-3p in monocyte-derived DCs (moDCs) caused an increase of SLE-related cytokines, such as CCL2, CCL5, CXCL8, IL-6, and TNF-α, and resulted in increased infiltration of CD4+ T cells and in suppression of Tregs in DC-CD4(+) T cell coculture, whereas the proliferation of CD4+ T cells was not altered [159]. This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and systemic lupus erythematosus.
