Studies [91] have shown that hypoxia can significantly reduce the effectiveness of radiation, chemotherapy, and molecular targeted therapy and verified that Gal-1 derived by tumor binding with N-glycans is important in hypoxia and tumor angiogenesis and they also found that hypoxia can induce secretion of Gal-1 by Kaposi's sarcoma cells via NFkB signal pathway. The gene discussed is NFKB1; the disease is neoplasm.
