Given the stronger expression of the LRP5 and LRP6 coreceptors in TNBC than in other breast cancer subtypes, we then investigated the effects of knocking down LRP5 or LRP6 expression on cell viability in HCC38 and MDA-MB-468 TNBC cells, which have high levels of both LRP5 and LRP6 [30].
