Children with celiac disease (CD1) with TOC and TAC levels within the range of expected values had lower CRP levels (median 0.23; interquartile range 0.12–0.34) compared with children with celiac disease (CD2) with serum TOC and TAC levels not corresponding to the expected values (median 0.41; interquartile range 0.26–0.65) (Figure 2). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and celiac disease.
