Similarly, Chen et al. [64] findings suggested that DICER1 rs1057035 and RAN rs3803012 were not associated with cervical cancer in the Chinese population, and there are no previous studies that have investigated the association between polymorphisms in RAN/XPO5/DICER1 genes and cervical precancerous lesions or cancer; however, rs13078 in DICER1 was related to larynx cancer in a Polish population [38]. Here, DICER1 is linked to cervical carcinoma.
