By using the Cox proportional hazards regression model for a multivariate analysis of sex, age, tumor type, tumor number, tumor stage, HBsAg, AFP level, Child-Pugh, KPS score, and other basic characteristics of the TACE+γ-knife group, we found that that the tumor number, Child-Pugh, and tumor stage were the main factors that affected prognosis (P < .05). This evidence concerns the gene AFP and neoplasm.
