We thus evaluated the potential association of 33 ERAP1 and 12 ERAP2 tagging single-nucleotide polymorphisms (tSNPs) with (i) baseline systolic and diastolic blood pressure, (ii) blood pressure progression, and (iii) incident hypertension in a large prospective cohort of 17,255 initially healthy US white women. Here, ERAP2 is linked to hypertensive disorder.
