Although one recent study indicated that upregulation of IFI44L was significantly correlated with shorter overall survival and shorter median survival time in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma [44], our data revealed that low expression of IFI44L was found in HCC tumor samples and was correlated with larger tumor size, more disease relapse, advanced stages as well as significant poorer RFS and OS.
