TNF and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis: Gemcabene-treated 100 and 300 mg/kg groups significantly suppressed TNF-α mRNA expression (2.0 ± 0.8 and 1.9 ± 0.7, respectively), while the vehicle-treated NASH mice showed a significant up-regulation in TNF-α mRNA levels (3.6 ± 1.0) compared to the vehicle-treated normal mice.
