As a result, the mRNA expressions of NOS2 and TNF-α (M1 macrophage markers) were relatively higher levels in saline- and HbV-treated pancreatitis mice than CO-HbV-treated pancreatitis mice (Figure 4(A) and (B)), whilst the mRNA expression of both IL-10 and MRC1 (M2 macrophage markers) showed higher levels in mice treated with CO-HbV than saline- or HbV-treated mice (Figure 4(C) and (D)). Here, NOS2 is linked to pancreatitis.
