In secondary analyses, we observed associations close to the null for overall melanoma risk with long-term use of bendroflumethiazide (OR, 1.10; 95% CI, 1.02-1.19; P for trend = 0.47), angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (OR, 1.07; 95% CI, 0.99-1.16; P for trend = .53), angiotensin-II receptor antagonists (OR, 1.18; 95% CI, 1.07-1.29; P for trend = .07), and calcium-channel blockers (OR, 1.06; 95% CI, 0.97-1.14; P for trend = .94). This evidence concerns the gene ACE and melanoma.
