In women, a higher prevalence of ADE-reports was seen in six of the ten groups of antihypertensive drugs: ACE-Is, ACE-I with thiazide combinations (Tables 1 and 2), ARB with thiazide combinations (Table 4), thiazides, diuretics, and potassium-sparing agents (Tables 5 and 6) and DHPs (Table 9). This evidence concerns the gene ACE and acute disseminated encephalomyelitis.
