Approximately 6–72 h after induction of dsRNA-Chk1 infection, the relative expression of PmCDC2 and PmCyclin B was upregulated in the ovaries and hepatopancreas, suggesting that silencing of PmChk1 could increase the expression of PmCDC2 and PmCyclin B in P. monodon. Studies have shown that Chk1 can inhibit expression of cyclin B and CDC2, which help regulate the cell cycle. This evidence concerns the gene CHEK1 and infection.
