Thirty-seven proteins, including Arp2/3 complex subunits, cortactin, talin and vimentin, were already described in invadosomes and, more widely, 131 proteins (42%) were associated with tumor invasion (Supplementary Table 3, Supplementary Data 2, and Fig. 2c), substantiating the relevance of our findings and providing opportunities to reveal key invadosome proteins not yet identified. This evidence concerns the gene VIM and neoplasm.
