Since serum Chemerin levels are reported to be higher in women with PCOS [25], and as we previously documented a relationship between the Chemerin receptor CMKLR1 and DHT-induced PCOS in mice, we were curious about whether GPR1, another Chemerin receptor, was also involved in steroid synthesis in hyperandrogenemic mice. This evidence concerns the gene CMKLR2 and polycystic ovary syndrome.
