Since serum Chemerin levels are reported to be higher in women with PCOS [25], and as we previously documented a relationship between the Chemerin receptor CMKLR1 and DHT-induced PCOS in mice, we were curious about whether GPR1, another Chemerin receptor, was also involved in steroid synthesis in hyperandrogenemic mice. Here, CMKLR1 is linked to polycystic ovary syndrome.
