According to our statistical analysis, high AEG-1 and HIF-1α expression levels were commonly associated with elevated metastasis (p < 0.01) as well as lower FIGO stage (p < 0.001) and degree of differentiation (p < 0.001), in patients with advanced ovarian carcinoma and lymph node metastasis (Table 2), as reported in previous studies [21, 22]. The gene discussed is HIF1A; the disease is metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
