In contrast to KCa3.1 inhibition20, Kv1.3 blockade was not able to change the phenotype of GAMs, indicating that the inhibition of this channel operates as a functional modification of GAMs (that became less motile, Fig. 4c) without interfering with their expression level of inflammatory genes, at least in the context of gliomas.
