The ratio of CD8 T+ cells to CD4+ T cells was not significantly associated with the pCR rate (Fig. 4c), but patients with residual lymph node metastasis had a lower ratio of CD8+ T cells to CD4+ T cells than patients without residual lymph node metastasis one month after the termination of CRT. Here, CD8A is linked to metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
