CRP and major depressive disorder: Treatment-resistant, untreated and treatment-responsive MDD groups all had significantly increased proportions of participants with high-sensitivity CRP > 3 mg/L compared with healthy volunteers (likelihood ratio χ2 = 8.4, P = 0.004; likelihood ratio χ2 = 8.6, P = 0.003; and likelihood ratio χ2 = 5.0, P = 0.025, respectively).
