SPAG9 and gastric cancer: Promisingly, we found miR‐30a‐3p was downregulated in gastric cancer tissues, and higher levels of miR‐30a‐3p were associated with longer survival time in gastric cancer patients, which was consistent with its previously reported function in hepatocellular carcinoma.34 Consistently, ectopic expression of miR‐30a‐3p inhibited proliferation and promoted apoptosis, while decreasing linc00483 and SPAG9 mRNA and protein expression in vitro.
