These two driven forces that can contribute to hypglycemia should be prevented, and in this regard our data showed that atorvastatin and diacerein, by reducing lipopolysaccharides (LPS) downstream signaling in the liver, can probably contribute to restoring G6Pase tissue levels and likely its activity, which will ultimately restore hepatic glucose production, and prevent hypoglycemia.
