Amplification of Myc (either MYCN or MYC) is found in a significant proportion of pediatric and adult cancers, including neuroblastoma and subtypes of rhabdomyosarcoma, medulloblastoma, ovarian cancers, lymphomas and lung cancers (http://www.cancerindex.org/geneweb/MYCN.htm#datatable) [33, 34].
