In the previously reportedclinical trials on immunotherapy in patients with breast cancer, immune checkpointinhibition like pembrolizumab and atezolizumab demonstrated a response rate of 18.5and 24%, respectively.14,15In terms of cervical cancer, the ORR of pembrolizumab in PD-L1 positive patients was17%, and the responses were long-lasting with a mean duration of 26weeks.16All these results should be interpreted with caution due to the unselected patientsregardless of PD-L1 expression and the small sample size in this study. The gene discussed is CD274; the disease is breast carcinoma.
