In Hou’s dataset [22], E2F8 is overexpressed compared with that in the normal samples in all of the LC types: lung adenocarcinoma with a fold change of 3.659, large-cell lung carcinoma with a fold change of 4.707, and squamous cell lung carcinoma with a fold change of 2.48 (Table 1). Here, E2F8 is linked to laryngotracheoesophageal cleft.
