Based on molecular markers, breast cancer is classified into four subtypes as triple-negative, HER2 over-expressing, luminal A, and luminal B. The triple-negative type of breast cancer indicates the lack of expression of estrogen receptors (ERs),progesterone receptors (PR), and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)[11]. This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and breast carcinoma.
