According to the RT‐qPCR and Western blotting results (Fig. 2), the expression of miR‐92a, mRNA and protein expressions of ERK1, ERK2, TNF‐α, and sIL‐2R were found to be increased in the cervical cancer tissues compared to the adjacent normal tissues and normal cervical tissues, while mRNA and protein expression of PTEN were comparatively diminished (all P < 0.05). The gene discussed is MAPK1; the disease is cervical carcinoma.
