As expected, Western blot analysis showed that the levels of phosphorylated STAT1, IκBa and NF‐κB p65 were increased in KCs with LPS/IFN‐γ treatment compared to KCs without LPS/IFN‐γ treatment, while the increased expression levels could be attenuated by r‐FGL2 introduction (Figure 2C,D). This evidence concerns the gene NFKBIA and dry eye syndrome.
