Programmed death-1/ligand 1 (PD1/L1) inhibitors, and cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein-4 (CTLA-4) inhibitors have shown significant potential in improving overall survival (OS) in patients with malignant melanoma, non-small cell lung carcinoma, and renal cell carcinoma [2–6].
