These results strongly suggested that CLDN11 interferes with tubulin polymerization, that the intracellular loop and C-terminus of CLDN11 are necessary for the binding of TUBA1B and TUBB3, and that the deletion of intracellular loop and C-terminus of exogenous CLDN11 impairs the CLDN11-mediated migration blockage in NPC cells. This evidence concerns the gene TUBB3 and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
