DAB2IP is a member of the RAS-GTPase-activating protein (RAS-GAP) family [6] and is downregulated in several cancer types, including prostate cancer, bladder cancer, hepatocellular cancer, and colorectal cancer [7–10], suggesting that DAB2IP has emerged as an attractive target for cancer therapy. This evidence concerns the gene RASA2 and urinary bladder carcinoma.
