To study the molecular changes associated with susceptibility of Wdr13-/0 mice to increased anxiety and depression, and further to determine whether such changes were similar to those found in other rodent models of depression (Wilkinson et al., 2009) or depressed human post-mortem samples (Player et al., 2013; Fuchsova et al., 2015), we investigated the molecular changes in the PFC of the socially isolated Wdr13-/0 mice using 8-plex iTRAQ quantitative proteomics.
