Furthermore, both dominant and heterozygous models showed significant association of Her2 Ile655Val polymorphism with increased risk of breast cancer (Dominant model Val-Val + Ile-Val vs Ile-Ile: OR = 1.127, 95% CI = 1.038–1.223, p = 0.004; Heterozygous Ile-Val vs Ile-Ile: OR = 1.100, 95% CI = 1.016–1.192, p = 0.019). This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and breast carcinoma.
