The genomic landscape of melanoma, performed by The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) on 333 melanoma samples delineated 4 genomic subtypes, i.e., triple wild-type (WT), BRAF mutant, NRAS, HRAS or KRAS mutant, and NF1 mutant, as well as three transcriptomic subclasses, i.e., immune, keratin and MIFT-low. This evidence concerns the gene HRAS and melanoma.
