This scoring method was also applied to a TMA from the Human Protein Atlas consisting of human breast tumors stained for CEACAM5.32 The majority of lung metastases expressed high levels of CEACAM5 (Fig. 6c) compared with breast tumors (Fig. 6d), demonstrating that CEACAM5 was higher in metastatic lesions compared with primary breast tumors.
